The history of the Arabian horse goes back around five thousand years, and is the oldest breed of horse inexistence. In ancient times the Arabian was seen as a prized possession of the great kings and rulers, the Arabian horse became a symbol of power and wealth. He was known for his beauty speed endurance and stamina.
The Arabian horse has contributed to the formation of virtually all the modern breeds of light horse.

The sharply defined facial features, a dish head, pointed ears, and high tail carriage make the Arabian horse stand out from others breeds. They have a very fine silken coat and big expressive eyes.
There is no standard height for an Arabian horse, however the usual range is from 14-1 hands to 15-1 hands.
